My new website is up and running
« on: January 07, 2013, 02:42:32 AM »
Right...differently from picturenoise.com, this one it's suppose to be my main online portfolio. No cameras information (and for that reason there are digital and film pictures mixed... hope that's ok ::)) or technical details... just series with a few images.

In order to set up the site and since I haven't shooting anything new for a while, I had to edit my images in a way I could create the current series but in the future the idea is to go out with something in mind and make projects to be posted, this is something I rarely do.

I'm using Cargo, pretty easy to managed the pictures without any hassle so there's no excuse for me to not keep it updated ;D .

All kinds of feedback are welcome! Thanks...

Fantastic

easy navigation, it' very very quick, I'm on a very slow connection
I really like the way that once you've looked through a gallery, the other galleries are there at the bottom to choose another one, very easy

any site that features San Paulo and exotic Margate has got to be good :-)

Brilliant stuff Mauricio. It all works fine on my tablet (CM10.1, Chrome for android). It is clean, easy and clear.

Just one technical point - most of the Margate shots are actually taken in Cliftonville. The 2 towns are separate, even though they do seem to merge into one another. A bit like Brighton and Hove (although infinitely less cool).

Thank you all for the feedback  :) I'm enjoying Cargo so far, as you all could notice the navigation is really straight foward and it's soooo much easiear to keep the website updated with the "drag and drop" feature!

Thanks for the info Leon, I wouldn't imagine they're two different places... It was a really bizarre experience getting of the rail station as I had no idea how Margate looked like... I was kind of expecting the same Brighton vibe :o It was a bit of a shock really... I wouldn't imagine I could find places like that in England.

Fantastic
