Filmwasters gear...
« on: December 29, 2012, 01:45:52 AM »
Can we get filmwasters gear anywhere? Hats? Tshirts? Bumperstickers?

Or has that kind of swag been avoided in order to keep the forum non-commercialized and personal?

I just really like this site, and really enjoy the crowd here. I don't find it to be too stuffy, never exclusionary at all, and its generally a happy place for me. I'd like to have some FW swag to show off.

We don't do merch, but be do have an 'opensource' logo that can be downloaded and made into anything. Here it is - http://filmwasters.com/podcast/data/filmwaster_final-v1.png

Used at will, we just ask that you don't used it for personal gain.

Sorry Christopher - it's only the film-box logo that is available.

No biggie, just wondering. I think I'm going to have a hoodie made with the box logo.

There are a couple of British ex-Pats who screenprint tshirts (and I think sweatshirts) with pictures of old cameras (including a Hasselblad & Polaroid). I see them at street fairs around town and they have a website as well. I can't remember their name off-hand but if I can find it I'll post it here. They're nice shirts.

I did find these on Etsy: http://www.etsy.com/shop/filmmonsters?ref=seller_info

....and don't forget our very own Alan Lambe's place:

http://weweartees.com/

I bought an FP4 and an HP5 and they are superb quality.

Maybe Alan could download the FW film box logo and offer that as an additional option??

He'd be welcome to on the understanding that they were sold 'not-for-profit'.

Cool! I did not know about that film box logo, I like it! I just might print up some stickers on crack-n-peel paper.

I think there are a few Filmwasters tees on Etsy and the like (at non profit prices) from the last time we discussed this. Might be worth a search before you reinvent the wheel?

I still have my filmwasters box X 4 t-shirt from last time.  It's still going strong though I'd like a new one.

There is also a company called http://www.wallriders.com/

We've used them in the past as an upsale product for high school senior portrait sessions.

May not be exactly filmwaster gear, this is what I have my coffee in every morning:
