I was cruising eBay as I normally do, and ran across this thing. Isn't a transparent case sort of defeating the light tight box idea?

ETA: I missed the part about it being a promotional camera, probably used to demonstrate how it worked. Still though $1300usd???

I'd be intrigued by how that works. There HAS to be a light-tight path from the lens, off the mirror and down onto the film, surely? A good looker for sure! Who can resist looking at the mechanisms inside?

Actually, these were never made to be used!
While some might rightfully call it a useless paperweight, I still think it's kinda cool.
You don't see those everyday.
