Happy New Year!

Still chasing my nose, so looking for something to waste time on and no new Square magazine, but:

Quote
We are pleased to announce a call for artists for a Special Issue dedicated to toy cameras photography.
All you need to do is select your best 10 images and write something about the camera you used. The images should be at least 1000×1000 px @ 72 dpi JPEG.
Archive the lot and send as attachments to editor@squaremag.org before FEB 15 2013. The artists selected will be published in March.
Thought it might interest a bunch of us.

-Jack

Looks interesting. I might just have to drag the Hasselblad out of its winter slumber - or have another pop with the Holga.

I'm interested in this also! though im not sure how much of a chance i have comparing my photos to the likes of ken but its worth a shot.

Maybe it would be worth it to mention that we are from filmwasters with our entries. It could spark some interest from the magazine? There is A TON of great work coming out in the weekend threads...

I was lucky enough to have some images published in issue 1.2. Christophe also had a physical exhibition a couple of years back which I had a couple of photos in.

I'd say, if you shoot square and have work that would fit, submit it!

I have started a Square-Format Photography Community over on Google+ that I'm doing a poor job of publicizing, if anyone's interested: https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/118411297631403173476

Our criteria are pretty much the same as the magazine's, so please do come by and post some pics.
