I'm finding the FW site very slow at the moment - both on the forum, and on the other areas. Tablet/ Laptop, home connection/ work connection/ mobile connection - all consistently slow.

Anyone else?

Let us know so we can contact the site host about it.

Ya me too Leon. I am using a forum app (tapatalk) which adds another variable to the mix but I often need to knock it on the side of its head to get it to show me the new threads.

Yes, very. Its been that way for a few days. I'm using google Chrome at work and when you click something, anything, it takes at least 20 seconds or more to load.

For the record, I've not found it at all slow using Board Express (the Windows Phone version of Tapatalk), but it is a little slower than normal on the forum from my dsktop PC at home (London, UK).

Whoooh! It just took about a minute to load the Guest Galleries page. That IS slow.

yeah has been noticeably slow for me too, on a pc, or browsing the site (not app) using my phone. I'm in Cornwall, UK.

OK, people. It looks like we have a problem. I'm supposed to be building a shed (on my first day off from work for Christmas!!), so I won't be able to chase it up with Bluehost until later, but I'll get onto them this evening UK time and see if we can sort it out.

I think it might be related to the Holidays and increased internet traffic at the host...
Or a more likely scenario is that it will get back to normal in about 4 days when people realize that the end of the world hasn't come

Took about 12 seconds to load the reply page.

I just did some pings using network-tools.com
Filmwasters gets 68.1ms
Bluehost gets a timeout
Flickr 2ms

Joking aside, it seems to have been slow for days. The page always seems to load faster when I refresh the page - that goes for windows 7 PC and app on iphone.

I shall persist!

Normal, part of it (mainly the graphic elements) are already in the cache.

It could be ISP related. More people are at home bored stiff at this time of the year than at any other time.
My ISP is not that great and slow connections are the norm.

Here in chicago i've had a few ocassions where it wouldn't load the forum, but overall it has been fine. Though posting a message takes about 20 seconds.

I take that back, it is a bit sluggish overall.
