« on: September 21, 2012, 05:49:50 PM »
so I've got a bottle of this developer to try out and I'll try kentmere 100 with it. but I'm planning to try a 120 film too.
anyone of you think you can recommend any of these?

ilford pan f+
ilford hp5+
fortepan 100

I guess these times are good?

but my bottles don't look the same (they're straight with blue tops instead of the ones shown here:

Probably just a different batch from a different packaging company...

Film is the vinyl record of photography.

The Neofin Blau is great with slower thin emulsions, the EFKE ones were perfect partners for it. I would imagine the Forte 100 would be sharp as a tack. Agfapan 25 and Pan F would be nice too.
Have fun!
There's more to this photography thing than meets the eye.

Isn't this the proprietary form of Buetler? If so, I wouldn't use it with anything over 125 speed in 35mm. It's a great formula though... Really great.

yeah, I get a lot of search results with buetler in them. hm... I should look it up in the darkroom cookbook.
