Polaroid Instant 20 Land Camera
« on: September 24, 2012, 12:25:27 AM »

A few months ago I received this old Polaroid Instant 20 Land Camera from my uncle in Ireland. It came in it's original box with manual and even came with this receipt from Switzers Department Store in Dublin.

The receipt is from December 24th, 1977 and is for

Instant 20 camera ....  £19.95
Double pack of film ....  £6.28
1 box of flashes  .... £1.34

I remember my uncle taking family photos with this camera and I distinctly remember him putting the photo under his arm to keep it warm as it developed.

This weekend, I took the camera out for a spin around San Jose and had it loaded with Type 84 black and white film (which expired in 2007). Here are a few of the shots :-
