Does anyone have McKeown's book?
« on: May 03, 2012, 06:06:57 PM »
I'm wondering if anyone around here has McKeown's Price Guide to Antique & Classic Cameras?

Thing is I saw a camera at a junk store and am wondering what the heck it is!

It's a Buena. 35mm. Made in Japan.
The camera is all metal and weighs a ton!

I tried looking on the usual wiki pages and couldn't find anything on it... very strange.

I've got a Hove Blue Book (similar thing) but it's not listed.

I think Gary Moyer used to have a copy?
Not certain, but maybe he'll pop in and say.

Just saw this, yes I have a copy of McKeowns Guide. Highly recommend it if you can get one. eBay is usually your best bet as it can be pricey. I have the 2005-2006 edition which I believe is the last one that they have made. Over 40,000 cameras! Worth every penny ;)

Gary, stop tempting me! I don't want to break my #1 rule of auction sites: don't bet on anything until you've received your last order... My set of step-up filter rings hasn't made it home yet :)
