It's not everyday you get a year or two's worth of film in one go. Happy? Me? You bet.
 :D ;D

To get it I broke what had until then been my golden rule of only ever bidding once per item. In the end I didn't have to up the price very much, so I'm happy. No-one here at Wenn Mansions seems to care too much about the new arrival, so i thought I'd post here to receive some virtual high fives  ;D

24 packs of 125i for around £130....that's about the best cost-per-shot that I've managed in a long while for Polaroid film.

I made sure it was gloss not silk this time  ;)

That is an awesome stash! Even I can appreciate that (as I don't shoot peel apart. Yet?).

Chalky, I think I'm bidding on that stash too. If it's the one consisting of 38 packs then steer clear, everyone  ;) ;)

Ed - if I do bid and win (unlikely), happy to split with you if you wanted... can see it going sky high though...

Actually, there has been some very weird stuff going on with the bidding on this item. I may be about to call eBay and complain. 2 bids placed and then retracted within a minute each time by the same buyer who apparently "Entered wrong amount"...thus conveniently pushing my bid higher before finally settling on what is the highest bid you could place without becoming the front-runner. Very fishy indeed.

I did notice the amount seemed to have changed a few times. pretty sure it is already out my price range, but if you did want to do some kind of joint bid, just let me know. but no problem at all if not.

will keep an eye on it too.

but I hope they are not trying to get their friends to bid it up or something as that is lame. but ebay do have things in place allegedly so worth getting in touch.

Yes, I think that's weird too...could be a buyer checking to see whether it's worth continuing to watch or the seller seeing how far he can push it.
Definitely worth mentioning to ebay though it might end up that this sale becomes void and has to be relisted :(

I noticed something similair happening a little while back, so I eventually called ebay..they told me that through an investigation they found "someone" had rigged up an account seperate from their selling account and bid on their own items in order to artificially inflate the price..they were given a warning and ebay was watching for other cases of this happening...so you may be correct in your assumtions that their is some "weirdness' going on!!  Happens a lot with people who have home business type accounts...so they tell me...Hmmmmmm...

yeah i'm pretty sure there is plenty of self-inflating of bids on ebay. i usually pick a price in my mind and don't go any higher. for the most part, anything you see on ebay isn't the only one in the world. there will always be another for sale.
