CT 18 Processing - Any suggestions?
« on: December 13, 2011, 03:59:15 PM »
I bought this film on ebay assuming it was unused but it turned out to be exposed already. I got the full refund from the seller and he didn't bother to get it back, letting me stay with the film ( HA! the cartridge seems to re-usable) ;)

Today I took the film to the lab to process but the person told me that this is an older processing prior to the E6 and he didn't want to take the chance of ruinning their chemicals/equipment since the emulsion might fall off from the film base.

Any thougths about processing this ? I don't want to spend serious money in any especialized lab.

I'm thinking of processing using Leon's favourite Rodinal  ;D... any thoughts ?

Thanks guys...!

Well, I did process some C41 film in Ilford PQ Universal for about 10 minutes (sheet film recommendation with intermittent agitation) and surprisingly (or not) got some grainy negs... but the image was very visible.

Here's what came out of it.

I feel using the same recipe might work since it probably processes most of the exposed silver...

Film is the vinyl record of photography.

Try here...

Thanks Peter... I'd seen it before while searching for this type of processing.

It seems to be a good place if you find something valuable within family and want to get it processed, but £20.00 for someonelse's film I can't really afford that.

I also found these in US:
