Anybody fancy putting together a calender? Perfectly selfish - I need a calender, have zero time so thought I would see if anyone wanted to arrange a FW one?

Sounds like a wonderul idea..since I am not working this winter I would be happy to help in any way possible..my only big commitment is visiting Paris and London the first 2 weeks of November...

I'm happy to contribute on the "image" front but, as I'm also travelling (Cambodia and Thailand 7th-23rd November) I doubt I'll be much use otherwise. No change there, then...!!

I'm cool with putting it together like I did last time as long as Leon & Ed arrange the actual image collecting from FWs and deciding on final images with the seasonal theme (that worked out pretty well for me and it took maybe a day to sort out - much longer wait to get the first proof-print calendar back). That broke it down into nice little chunks so I didn't have to sit here trying to decide what should go on which month.

Is this something that you can work on together, or does that just complicate things?

Guess logically as heather has done this before makes sense to pick up again if thats cool? Thats not to say we woudnt appreciate Dianes help also.

Whilst we sort that out if people would like to submit ONE image lo res and 600px wide -we can then select the images and will contact you for the final image - which im guessing would need to be 300dpi at a larger size!

PLease send images to filmwasters@gmail.com

PLease ensure you title the image CALENDER and your image is saved with the title and your name.

Eg.

"Damion is a good looking man.jpg - Ed Wenn"

If we can have the submissions in by OCT 23rd - that should give us sufficnet time to get sorted in time for Christmas!

I don't mind if Diane wants to do it (as a change from me last year) but if anything comes up I'm happy doing backup on the project since I can do a quick & dirty job if nothing else

I must admit the words "anyone wants to volunteer" makes me think of either the army or some odd scientific experiment...

If I were you, I'd send something anyways... a calendar with less than 12 pictures is pretty boring

Looks like we have a few people who havent submitted large files.

If you are able please do....othwerwise not enough to sort the calender out!

I'm typing this while looking at the last page of this years' fantastic Filmwasters calendar. Do you think there will be one for next year or shall I have to make do with second best and order Michael Kenna's calendar instead?

I only recieved 9 images (there was a total of 13 submitted to Damion apparently?) and 3 of them were so small (would only be a few inches across when printed) I could put them all on one month... leaving me with 6 months uncomplete. Damion posted here nearly a month ago trying to encourage people to send bigger images and nothing happened so... no calendar this year unfortunately. Sorry

That's a shame.. unfortunately I haven't been able to check the forum as regularly as last year due to mountains of work so I kept missing these threads

Or maybe you could just put two months per page? It would probably cost less to purchase and we'd have enough pictures for that?
