the new year leontaylor-photo.co.uk give-a-way
« on: January 30, 2007, 07:35:20 PM »
Free to good homes - 4 books .....

Creative Exposure Control (how to get the exposure you want every time) by Les Meehan (http://tinyurl.com/39bb86);
(A reasonably useful book with some good tips for use with reversal and negative films)

B & W Photolab - Processing and Printing by Julien Busselle (http://tinyurl.com/2sscaw);
(Very helpful for the darkroom novice - covers designing a darkroom to basic film development control and printing techniques)

B & W Photolab - Printing Special Effects by Julien Busselle (http://tinyurl.com/33ccqo); and
(The more advianced version of the above - looks at more creative darkroom work as well as some very basic alt processes)

Creative Landscape Photography by Niall Benvie (http://tinyurl.com/2kbhka)
(Looks at the practicality of and the thought processes and philosophy behind Niall's excellent colour alndscape shots)

The only catch is that you must be signed up and have at least 10 posts here on filmwasters ;)  First come first served - the first filmwaster to claim a book here gets it - I only ask that they pay for the postage ... which may be quite expensive if you're not in the uk.

good luck with it :)

I love books and would take you up on all of those remaining, but don't have any idea what the post would cost for such a transaction.  I would pick it up if reasonable.

no 1 is yours Laura

tammy - you're welcome to the last two books, but the nial benvie one is quite big and a hardback so quite heavy - I'll weigh it and see what is the cheapest option.  I'll say they're yours for now until we've decided on the postage issue.

cheers

Leon
