Just a quick heads up. I was having a look at the Sky.com website as I'd heard they were starting to show some excerpts from the Format International Photography Festival that ran through March and into April. The theme for 2011 was "Street Photoraphy".

For those interested, the following link will take you to a variety of snippets fom Bruce Gilden, Joel Meyerowitz and a host of others. Happy viewing....

Please tell me that Meyerowitz goes through his "I make myself invisible" spiel again...please!

No, Ed, I think he gives that one a miss. Frankly, even he must be starting to wonder whether people are convinced that a 2 metre tall slaphead who looks like a hybrid of Leonard Nimoy's love-child and Skeletor wearing a beanie-cap and wielding a camera might ever pass as "invisible".

Still, he's a nice bloke and a bloody good photographer to-boot.

....which has always been my point. Still, if he believes it, it must work one way at least  :D Also, I understand that he started using an LF cam on the streets at some point and I'd sincerely hope that even the old Meyerowitz Mojo deserted him right around there.
