Why would you do this?

Call me dull but I don't see what's wrong with chrome 'n leatherette...

Fake woodgrain  ???
Now all you need is a burnt orange strap to go with it and you'll have the complete 70's look to go with it  :P

How about a companion camera in harvest yellow  ;)

Actually, the woodgrain would go fine with the basement renovation I have planned for this summer!
I'm going for the Retro High Tech Urban Cottage look (trust me, it is going to be s.w.e.e.t.!)

Aw man- I would give my eye teeth for a nice Pen F. I borrowed one a while back and loved it. That lens cap with the big gothic F makes me go all tingly. I have a problem...

I will freely admit to being a fuddy-duddy. I also got out of the wrong side of bed this morning.

Chrome and black leather are my favourite colour scheme

I've seen and held this camera and I'm not sure whether it's an "official" Leica paint job but it certainly looks like the previous owner didn't exactly keep it in a Luigi case.

It's an original Leica paintjob. Leica offered their cameras in green for military camouflage. Now I still wonder what soldier would go around with a green leica around his neck?

Saw the camera, seems to me they didn't strip the chrome off and go down to brass but that's a nice color might do that to my iic
