I always loved this womans photography, she was very inspirational to me in the early days, in fact I didn't know until many years later who she was, I have never really been a name person, more of an outcome enthusiast

It is indeed sad how she passed away.

In the Guardian article it states:

"She coped resolutely with professional slights but it seems despair at the world's lack of use for her craft finally induced her to take her own life."

I can't say I knew this lady but I knew her name and some of her work. She had an awesome career but what an immense tragedy that a life so humane and so talented ends this way.
