Hello everybody,

My name is Volker. I'm located in Heidelberg, Germany).
I registered to this forum about two years ago and enjoyed reading all the posts.

I received my long desired Noblex (6/150UX) end of last year and now I would like to show you some of my first images.

Hi Volker, welcome to the forum and congratulations on some stunning shots! In my ignorance I wasn't aware of the Noblex, but they're really crisp images. I particularly like the shot of the castle and, of course, that ceiling is amazing. It'll be great to see some more.

Hi There and welcome.

I've seen one of these cameras but haven't seen the output previously. Lovely images and can't wait to see more. the castle and the ceiling are the "stand-outs" for me.

All the best. Paul.

Wilkommen bei Filmwasters...or at least welcome as a contributor not just a reader.
 ;)

I'm jealous of the camera; well done. I have a Horizon 202 which I love, but I got tired of having to clone out horizontal lines on the negs in Photoshop (see the last of these for an example). The Noblex is the camera I'd dearly love to buy to replace the Horizon. The actor Jeff Bridges uses a similar camera, a Widelux, to great effect. There's a great book he published and some other excellent stuff on his website: http://www.jeffbridges.com/crazyheartbook01.html

here are some of my efforts from about 5 years ago. They are all very poor scans. My technique has improved tenfold since then:

Ed, wonderful additions! I can see those lines in the last two shots and can understand why you would be reluctant to use the camera. And those Noblex cams are super pricey. Wow! I had no idea Jeff Bridges took pix. I understand that Gary Oldman also uses a pano camera though I havent seen any of his work. I have to see what the prices are for the Widelux cams.

Holy smokes, they cost a fortune too! I think I just might have to figure out how to use the Holga pano pinhole cam.

Yep, it's a shame those cams are so pricey. I'd dearly love to own one. Well done to Volker for being able to scrape the cash together to afford a Noblex.

Welcome! Great shots, I love the color one.

I'd say Heidleberg is a very "panoramic photographable" place to live. :)
