LF Action....
« on: January 18, 2011, 09:03:16 PM »
So back from Lanzarote and straight into a week off work,   rather than waste my time - I loaded the backpack and valuted right into the Get a Grip studio in Brum, a screenprinting company run by the lovely Kay & Sam (im not only saying this because they bought me coffee)

It was difficult getting "live action" shots of screen printing as it was quite dark. fun though

Shen Hao and some type 52 (well expired...obviously)

Excellent stuff D. Are they for a personal project or are the studio owners going to use the pics for any reason?

Good to hear the Shen is getting an outing too.

Thanks all.

Leon -  Hopefully they will used on the website somewhere and we they have also started to screenprint halftone photographs, so the idea being that if i can get something that works and represents them well they might consider making a few shirts.  That was my first time there with a camera and it was difficult,  it was quite dark (hence colour pic is blurrrrrrred as 100asa)  They were also keen to get a decent picture of some of the equipment, but generally its massive in a very tight space so I might go back with the kiev and fisheye and see what I can do.   They are just about to move  unit to a very light and airy space...a lot more suited for pictures but this needs to be done prior to the move

main reason for me was to get out with my camera so if nothing comes from it, im happy..although hopefully they can do something with them and I didn't waste their time!

I think something has already come of it, I really like them.
