Paterson System 4 Tank Repair?
« on: January 12, 2011, 12:18:19 AM »
I have one of the older system four tanks and the inner funnel section has become detached from the lid.

Does anybody know what solvent\glue can be used to fix this?
I did wonder if the solvent glue used on plastic pipework would work.

Thanks in advance

An epoxy glue should do it. I used some on my orbital tank with no ill effects.

And it has a lovely smell as it is going off.  A bit like perming lotion or the more floral notes of tom-cat urine.  (please do not ask how I have knowledge of either of these aromas)
