OT: A calendar for 2011... the weird way
« on: December 30, 2010, 10:49:39 PM »
When I saw this, I couldn't stop thinking about about a few things:
-Was it shot on film?
-What a weird idea?
-I don't know if Hookstrapped has ever thought of anything like this?
-I wonder if Sean would be interested to bring one to work?

Well, it is a calendar designed by a Swiss medical equipment manufacturer. They actually made a pin-up calendar... in X-ray!

A side of me is totally mesmerized by it... while being slightly grossed out. It's weird.

Here's the link to the small promo file (here)

and the page where I found it (here)

Interesting.

I find them quite beautiful, sort of.

However I do wonder how much radiation the model has been exposed to not enough to cause any harm I hope.

Will be intrigued to see what others think.

Without doing a very close examination of the images, there's no way of knowing if it was the same model 12 times or 12 models once each....

If it were the former, I suspect she'll be the girl who, on the way to work on dark mornings looks like she'd overdosed on Ready-Brek  ;D

Very strange....

What a novel idea, I hope that is a very low dose xray. The manufacturer is Eizo who are well known for their high quality photographic monitors also.
There's more to this photography thing than meets the eye.

This is funny.

I wonder if there are xray fetishists.

There is in a way. I was looking at the soft tissues that are visible in the image and managed to figure out that they don't all have the same body type. Some are larger chested than others (how come none of you guys has noticed  ;) )

Shoes are there!
And they stand out in an awesome way on the pictures. Stilettos with ankle straps...

They also happen to have nice looking... bones...

I prefer less bony models.
