Well, at least the lens cap is off :)

As for the Diana shot, I'm not sure that the proper holding position for this camera would have yielded photogenic hands... fingers bunched up together seldom look nice.

I think it is lack of nutrients causing extremely low blood sugar levels or a very dedicated lomographer.

LOL! Oh classic.

And yes, its always time for blonde jokes. Im blonde so I hear a lot of them. My two personal favorites are:

How do you drown a blonde?
Put a scratch and sniff at the bottom of a pool.

Two blondes were going to Disneyland . They were driving on the Interstate when they saw the sign that said Disneyland LEFT. They started crying and turned around and went home.

Thanks for sharing, Skorj.  To be fair to the photographer, it's possible that she is holding the Diana that way because the self-timer is engaged.

They even went one step further and chose a girl who has eyes the exact same color as the camera... how sweet :)

The rest may look awkward, but in this case, at least she has her finger on the shutter release. Kiev 60s are like that...

good pointing that out. I've actually wanted to try a camera wit the shutter release on the front like that. didn't some pentax cameras have bodies like that too? my idea is that the grip would be more stable as you squeeze off the shutter.

Haven't had much to post recently (no time to shoot or ponder photography) but thought I would add this to this thread when I randomly happened on it recently (from some stock library I assume...).
(OMG- a Contax / Kiev with a built in flash inside the VF. How cool is that? Where can I get one....)
(EDIT- & I've just noticed- this rare variant seems to have the shutter release positioned on the rewind. Cool)

That is indeed cool. Amazing in fact. How versatile.
