Some good stuff there Euge.  I can't help wondering if old Queen Vicky would've been more PO'ed by the green paint on her pillarbox or the American-style time reference.  (I do recall a time when it would have said 17.30..when did they change that?)  And I love the way Phil seems to be looking at the couple engaging in their PDA in the mall.

Carl, that's a very nice print.  Any tips on keeping the darned things flat?  Mine look like potato chips.   :)

I tend to line dry mine with two images pegged back to back with pegs on all four corners.  Don't' dry them too fast.  If all else fails - get a dry mounting press :)

The curl happens because the gelatin side tends to dry faster than the paper side. As far as I know, there are only two cheap non labor intensive ways to get this fixed.

First is to dry the prints in a blotting book. Since the book is held flat by a strap or a rubber band, the prints don't curl. Also the slow drying process helps a lot. This gives very matte prints.

The other is glass drying. You squeegee the print face down on a very smooth and clean sheet of glass and let it dry until it unsticks itself from it. Once it's on the glass, the only way to remove it is to wait until everything is dry... else the emulsion will stay stuck and becomes a real b**** to clean!

The Miller name is of Scottish heritage and I've been to Scotch House in Knightsbridge to see the clan colours and read a little of its history. For some reason I want to wear a kilt one day...  :-\

It appears the Wenn name is possibly of Scandinavian origin...

So hello, Goso....   ;)

As the weekend doesn't appear to be over yet, here are a couple I shot on Sunday when I had occasion to be in Asbury Park.  Notice the absence of nature, Phil!

The first one is a recovered fuji neg from the 100B film. This was my first try with the black and white neg recovery, that thing is super super thin.  I tried to make a contact print but no dice, it was very faint and about as low contrast as it gets.  I love the look though, going to keep trying these. I shot this one with my holga pinhole camera.

Hi Randy, I really like the look you have achieved with your bleached negative and very much intrigued how you did it. May be you would like to explain the steps you followed in this thread? Thanks!! http://www.filmwasters.com/forum/index.php?topic=3278.0
