The first photo of Pie Town, New Mexico has been well published.
Smithsonian did an article about the place in 2005..

It's just a few miles from the Very Large Array Radio Dishes in New Mexico.

The pie is very good btw!

I love every single frame !!
I've seen at least a couple of them at the Photographer's Gallery years ago...

Wow! Stunning, it always feel very odd and very real at the same time when you see photos of a period that you usually associate with black and white, in colour! Wonderful record.

Absolute magic - I feel even more transported in time than when seeing in black and white!  There were several frames that looked so Norman Rockwellian, so surreal!

Woooow, amazing, I agree with Phil. I also think that colour emphasizes the documentary component of photographs as color gives more data of what is being photographed.
