Double accessory shoe
« on: September 07, 2010, 06:47:51 PM »
Wassup!

I have found myself in several situations where I am using both an external light meter (I have a Voigtlaender VC II) and an external rangefinder at the same time. I was wondering if anyone had any good double accessory shoe solutions. I know Voigtlaender used to produce one, which was discontinued a few years ago, and you can only find them rarely and at a very hight price.

I have seen on ebay a cheap Chinese solution but it's too large - it's suited for SLR's.

I am looking for a compact solution...

Any advice or idas?

Cheers.

Since I often go the DIY route, I would take 2 cheap cameras with hotshoes, a fine modeler's saw (xacto makes a saw that fits into their knife handles) and a bit of crazy glue.

I was in the market for a double accessory shoe too reccently.  I managed to find one of these - it does the job perfectly.

(BTW - the other accessory is a thing for getting the stones out of a horses hoof)

Leon that is class, does the CD skip? I would think the MP3 version would be better.
If you need an RF why not try the human RF solution:

I use mine often with my Ensign Selfix, kind of cool even if people look at me as if I'm mad ;D
There's more to this photography thing than meets the eye.

By the look of these shoes the owner does the skipping
