Instant Film Storage (Exposed)
« on: July 04, 2010, 08:49:35 AM »
This may have been asked before so sorry if it has.

How do you guys store your Polaroid/Fuji exposed photos and for that matter all your instant shots. Do you have  an ever growing pile or are you more organised and have a system that protects them more? I don't shoot a stack of it, but, my pile is becoming large and I really ought to be taking care of 'em in some way. Just wondered what you guys did.

Phil

I use plastic portfolio sleeves available from Muji for Pola-Fuji/Instax/SX-70 . Hold about 100 images, around two or three pounds and come in various sizes.

Found nothing cheaper or easier to get or take on my travels. Oh, and they store Pola/Fuji vertical & horizontal.

The website does not seem to show all the sizes I've seen available in store though.

I decided to enlarge the Polaroids, because, as the wolf said to Red Riding Hood, “all the better to see you with, my dear.” Mrs Helmut Newton

I rubber band mine together, grouped by the shoot/day. i usually put an unimportant print on top to prevent any possible lines from the bands. stored in shoeboxes. but i have like 3000+ prints so it's kinda tough to do much with them.

Thanks, guys. Both have their merits and as I'm doing nothing right now I appreciate your input!

I just store them in old 4x6 sleeves... I need to find a better way.
