Whoah! That's a ton of cash for a lens. I know nothing about the Dallmeyer Super Six Anastigmat f/1.9 specifically...or Dallmeyers in general, but this seems really steep. Is it even a stills camera lens?

I have absolutely no idea whether it's for a movie camera or not.

Two very different cameras, though I still don't get it why the lens went for such a high price... All I hope is it won't be used as a paperweight

Just wondering... the results HAS GO TO BE damn good to worth all that money !

Will the results ever justify the price ? Will the pictures  be 10x  better (at least!) than a ?400.00 lens ??

Personally, I doubt it... I guess that, apart from a collector's piece (a.k.a. paperweight), it's probably not as good as a 400$ lens... and possibly not much better than a 40$ lens 

Heck, why not sound totally silly and say that a Holga has much better optics than this thing
