Hi all. I trust you're all well and have been wasting film like there's no tomorrow while I was down in Cornwall for 10 days over Easter?
I'm catching up with new posts and stuff, but wanted to drop in and post a few snaps of a favourite subject of mine, a disused and slightly renovated tin mine near Trebarwith Strand in North Cornwall. It looked great with the Agfa Isola on 120 last year and this time round I thought I'd try it out with my current setup (Land Cam 360 + expired Polacolor 125i). Some of the shots I overexposed deliberately (works well with the stain). I'm still going through the photos from this brief session (30 blissful minutes to myself to take photos without kids) and the rest of the holiday, but these 3 are pretty representative of the whole & I'm fairly happy with them.

These are truly incredible images. The second of the series took my breath away. The subject is well served with the artifacts and tint. Francois is right, they have an ancient look to them.

They're gorgeous !! really nice ...
I remember seeing few abandonned places similar to these ones on my way to Cornawall... I wanted to jump out of the train to take the pictures but my wife wouldn't allow me

Welcome back, Ed. These are beautiful - I torn between the first and the last. I prefer the composition of the first, but, the tone is nicer on the last. Any chance of returning and re-shooting?
