Becoming a photographic superstar
« on: March 19, 2010, 05:23:35 PM »
While going through a book I recently bought, I came upon an excerpt from a 1970's hand published magazine which explains how to become a photographic superstar!

Since I think we all want to become superstars in our own right, I scanned the page for all to see.

Even though I think it should be taken lightly (slightly tongue in cheek), it still is funny after all these years :)

(sorry for the bigg-ish scan but I wanted the handwritten text to be clearly visible on screen)

The Norman Rothchild joke is funny. I very briefly worked with him and so I'm guessing that's an inside joke from someone who either worked with him or read his MANY magazine articles.

The author of the magazine is named Joe Novak... though I haven't found anything about him yet on Google.

I can't believe this is from the 70s! It's SO on-message. Vampire Blood - how many book covers could you get on with some vampire pics these days!
Thanks for posting, this has made me smile.
