Damion - I didnt have you down as an ambient electronica sort of person?  I too very much like the FSOL - and the Amorphous Androgynous stuff.  Superb.

As far as the pic - dont know - could be a tortuga type pinhole camera http://www.tortuga.lu/anglais/1_description.htm

or it could all be digitally manipulated stuff.

very hard to tell.

and of course ... we all love the Haidouks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnNCidccbG8 and a bit of The Making of the Representative of Planet 8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFtqlRefaLo

do you think we've gone off topic a bit Andrea?

Yes, yes, sorry Sir. But I know nothing of FSOL  :-\

Maybe the pinhole camera was black. Or brown and had a hole in the front. Probably. ;)

It was brother who was the big fan,   and my mate joel.

But  I kind of like it,   fond memories of sitting in the forest of dean, spannered, listening to them

By the distortion I'm thinking it looks like a multi exposure from a 1 1/2 focal plane Leonardo 4x5.

Casado always made some pretty sweet cameras... They used to have an all aluminum blue anodized box... sweet.
