do you mean pics taken WITH an Isoly or pics taken OF an Isoly?  either way, Google is the all knowing oracle.

Thanks Damion; thanks Sapata.

Leon, Google was no help; hence, my inquiry.
Also, considering I taught AMERICAN English for some years, I should have realized I was being ambiguous. However, D&S correctly deciphered my ambiguity.

Martin, I am so glad you're here at Filmwasters. I love the way you write.  BTW, you'll be (mildly) ecstatic to learn that I finally mailed you a postcard yesterday lunchtime.

Good things come to those... etc.

On the subject of awesome Agfa cameras, I LOVE the Isola that I came across in a charity shop a few years ago. Have taken some of my fave snaps with it. Made all the more special that I found it on the same day I first met Leon. Here's a sample:

I know, I know...I'll do anything to get people to look at my Flickr stream  ;D ;D

Thought I was suffering deja vu and very nearly typed the same response as last time, but Martin, we've been here before with your thread a few weeks back:

Note the point about various isoly variants with different lenses, (in common with most old agfas - including Ed's yummy Isola), so it's hard to evaluate example images unless you know what exact model was used.

And a good thing, too! I especially like the picture of the kids. Can't wait until I get mine (kid that is, NOT camera ;) )

Leon, Google was no help; hence, my inquiry.

I hope you dont think my clarification question was meant to cause offence ... I was merely trying to understand your question and pass on the requisite links.  Google turns up a wealth of both pics of and pics by the Isoly - maybe there is a difference between the US and the UK google?  I just got these, 2 and 4 results from the top

hope that helps?

Ah, yes, I remember it well, Al. However, for me deja vu all over again is a recurring phenomenon at this point in time. The old guy will be having his second 40th birthday  in a bit over 60 days. Now, that  kind of deja vu is worth repeating.

Ed, thanks for the compliment about my wordsmithing. We in the colonies still try to keep up the standards that were originally set for us when we were but a rag-tag group of rebels. WHERE'S THE POSTCARD?!?!

Leon, I'm not offended but shocked to think that you might feel that I was put off by any information you passed along. Google/US was of no help, and I appreciate the direction you gave me.

In fact, I was most delighted with the number of links proffered by all. Ta
