Leica M mount lenses on Canon Fd mount?
« on: February 12, 2010, 03:24:16 PM »
Hello everybody!

I have a Canon A1 (canon FD mount) and would like to put on some Leica M mount lenses. Does anybody know if that is possible with an adapter (would I lose the ability to focus on infinite?)? Does anybody know it that can be done without an adapter but ?quirurgically?? So many questions...

Thanks in advance  ;D

Yes, you are are right Peter. Apparently is the Canon A adapter the one that allows you to use Leica M mount lenses on Canon FD but as you said loosing infinity focus. May be the cheapest way to use Leica M lenses is to buy a bessa R2,3,4 body..
