TXP6049
« on: December 16, 2009, 02:34:08 PM »
Hi,

Does anyone know which film has the markings 'TXP6049' on it? I know it must be TriX, but is it the 400 or the 320??

Thanks!

a quick google turned this up:

http://o-photo.narod.ru/Files/KODAK/KODAK_TRI-X_PAN_BW.pdf

it is TriX professional:

Para 2 says "Both TRI-X Pan Professional Films have an ISO speed of 320/26 ĚŠ, and feature excellent tone gradation and brilliant highlights. They are especially well suited to low-flare interior lighting or flash illumination. They are also useful for portraiture with low-contrast backlighting outdoors."

Thanks!

And BTW, Kodak has a mail in rebate program, for film, going til the end of this month: $5 back on 5 rolls. (I don't know if it's in the UK too). That's a great deal especially for 120 film - the TriX is $19.95 for the box of 5, so that's 25% off.
