Having a bit of a clear out due to moving shortly. Figured I'd offer up some cameras here for a few days before returning them to the sea of e'Bay. I'll post photos of them later if requested.
First up is a weirdo camera, the Ilford Sporti 6. Takes 120 film and comes with one 120 takeup spool (and 6x6 format), oddly has a cockable shutter wind-on. The shutter mechanism is absolutely shot on this... It's very very sluggish. It should, in theory, run at 1/50th or 1/100th. In reality it's lucky if it opens up all the way (but it always returns home, aw how sweet!).
In addition to that little quirk, for some reason, the focus doesn't go past 3-8m,10-25ft (so, doesn't go to infinity at all). It will go to the closer focus option of 1.5-3m,5-10ft. It has provisions for flash with a coldshoe and a PC socket (ooh modern!). It has a whole three apertures! 8, 11 and 16! Simple viewfinder. "Achromat 1:8" Lens, Dacora Kamerawerk Reutlingen.
The "leatherette" on the back cover is peeling considerably. All in all this is one for the person looking to do it up, probably just needs the shutter front section taken off and cleaned out with lighter fluid, maybe lubed up too and should be mostly serviceable after that.
Next is the Sporti 4, 127 camera, standard 4x4 format, comes with one 127 spool, in pretty much perfect working order as far as I can tell but I don't have 127 film to test it with. Fixed Focus, fixed shutter speed (which seems to be the standard 1/100th and is quite reliable and quick at that). Two apertures "Sunny" and "Cloudy/Flash". Also has modern PC socket provision and coldshoe. "Subitar Lens" Decora Kamerawerk company etc.
Just looking for a nice new home for them where they'll be used and appreciated. Donations towards shipping accepted especially if you're outside of the UK/EU, otherwise free to a good home. Will have a look around and see if I have anything else worth offering up. Might have some standard Ilford Sporti cameras I could give up as well.
