DIY Hasselblad SWC (?) on eBay
« on: October 27, 2009, 03:36:57 PM »
I don't know how this person did this, but someone has listed what they are calling a home-made Hasselblad SWC on eBay:

I don't know how they can call it a Hasselblad SWC, but it's interesting.

hmmmm, interesting conversion but it's a revved up Balda folder....  The price is amazingly ridiculous, despite the lens.

I thought so (not that I'd be in any position to buy it at the moment even if it was a deal). But I don't think I'd pay that much for a DIY even if I had the dosh.

What a ridiculous piece of misrepresentation.  And surely the seller slipped with the decimal point on the price.

OT but slightly related:  why do items on eBay located in Germany have price tags regularly double or even triple the same item located in other countries?

i dunno but i refuse to ship to germany. the few times i have, it takes paypal up to two weeks to process payment because of the way the banking system works or something. and after two weeks, the money may not clear.

Interesting, yes! Bloody expensive, you bet!

I'll stick with my SWC and buy a stack of film with the change.
