New Guest Gallery - John Bridges

Just posted a new guest gallery for September by John Bridges.
John lives in Little Rock, Arkansas and he attended the workshop I taught for Texas Photographic Society last weekend.
His work is superb.

Wow! I'm very excited by these latest guest gallery images. Thanks, Susan, for taking the time to post them here. I like the fact that while there is a thematic/emotional link which carries through the series, visually at least the look and feel of the images is slightly disparate and shows that John's got more than one approach up his sleeve.

I also relish the the talking point generated by John's introductory text; namely just how effectively can a photographer convery a specific emotion through a single photograph?

Strong work. I like the disconnected, but common feel. Really well thought out. The varying techniques and formats adds nicely I think to the overall feel. Thanks both! Skj.

that first one reminds me of a cross between keith carter and francesca woodman, (i like both :)...nice work!
