ALL registered Filmwasters are cordially invited to participate in Collaboration Number 18

Basic requirements: (besides being shot on film of course)

Theme: "JOURNEY"

As always, the interpretation is up to you - each person can decide whether it's, "A Journey", "The Journey", "Journeys" etc. ...essentially anything relating to the word 'Journey'

It would be really great to see some of the new members joining us old-hands on this - the work we receive is always diverse and high-quality, and the more people we have joining in, the better it will be

There is no right or wrong in a filmwasters collab, so step into your creative trousers and start wasting film

Submission Deadline: midnight BST Sunday, 20th September

JPEG Requirements: One JPEG image. 72dpi. Not larger than 600-750 ppi. in
length or width. No more than 200kb.

**ALSO INCLUDE**

1.ONE or TWO BRIEF SENTENCES explaining how you've interpreted the
theme with this shot.
2.The camera, process and/or type of film used
3. Your website or blog address that you'd like listed

We're looking forward to seeing your submission.

And for all other new members ... this is not a juried competition or similar, every submission is placed in the gallery, so there is no competitive pressure. Even more reason to submit a pic.

Notes for would-be first time contributors to a Filmwasters collaboration:

Like Leon says, this isn't a juried exercise. If anyone's the jury, it's you. Don't submit work that you yourself don't like....other than that we simply want to see as many submissions as possible.

Take a look at previous collaboration galleries to get a feel for the type of work that others have contributed in the past.

The excitement with collaborations - if I may be so bold as to speak on behalf of the FW Collective - is seeing how many different interpretations we end up with.

We try to choose themes which benefit from a bit of thinking before you shoot and which hopefully won't be interpreted by everyone in the same way (the recent self-portrait collaboration is probably the only exception).

It's always greatly appreciated if you take 5 minutes to write down a few lines of text to accompany your submission.

Hi All, Leon did a load of prep work for this earlier tonight & I'll be getting it online tomorrow morning (Tuesday, UK time). I was going to do it tonight, but decided instead to shoot my own photo to include in the gallery...so apologies for the delay, but it was for a good cause. I'm sure you all understand.
