Tripod quick release head
« on: May 06, 2009, 08:49:01 PM »
Boo!

A quick, and probably daft, question....

I've a Benbo Trekker tripod with ball and socket head.  I could do with some sort of small quick-plate holder that screws into it, and a plate to screw into the bottom of the camera.

Whenever I look for a quick release head they're built into a new ball and socket head.

Anyone know of something small (and cheap?)

Thanks,

Choppy (who has just been down the chippy)

I don't know if Manfrotto still make them but they used to make a simple quick-release that you mount on any tripod head equipped with a 1/4-20 bolt.

Mamiya used to make one. They turn up on ebabe occasionally. Having said that, I can't find one but did find this and this.
