Tokihiro Sato/Photo-Respiration
« on: February 06, 2009, 02:13:06 AM »
Hello,

we just published a couple of articles on T Sato on our site (one by photo writer Stacy Oborn of The Space In Between) which you may find of interest:

http://www.japanexposures.com/tag/tokihiro-sato/

Note also the photo at http://www.japanexposures.com/2009/01/28/tokihiro-sato-brooklyn-bridge-gleaning-light-series/ taken with a 24-exposure 360 degree multi-pinhole camera.

Hope this is of interest.

Regards

Dirk

somewhat  behind the curve here,    thanks for posting.    I have been trying to leave the house for last ten mins  but cant drag myself away from this!

Nice website,   really enjoying the variety of stuff on there.   The Sato stuff is very cool indeed.   The LF long exposures are very interesting.

again,  thanks for posting.

I LOVE the 360 degree pinhole stuff.    :) :) :) :)
Although it reminds me of a Purple Martin house on a stalk I once upon a time had.

Nice one Dirk,

I get your email updates so I spend quite a lot of time looking thru the site. However, I haven't noticed that there's any area detailing current exhibitions in Japan.

I realize that this information would only be relevant to those of us in the country, but I'm guessing that a lot of traffic to your site is domestic.

In particular, I have in mind a show by Sen Yokotani . Unfortunately, it closes on Feb 28, but it is well worth going to see if you have the time.

Clive, thanks... yes, we don't do the listings per se as TAB and other sites do that already and better than we could do. We do however offer detailed comment on or feature (some of) the artists that are behind these listings, which I think is of greater value. It's information vs. data if you will.  :D
