Great pics A & DSP. I hope you don't mind but I've split the topic up to start a new weekend thread cos somehow your two pics have been tacked onto an old weekend thread.

Just processed a film from last weekend.  Scans aren't very good!

First is of a backstreet in Nottingham, "Any bag only two pounds, come on ladies" - great eye contact on the neg from the girl.
Second is of a dude who always sits in the same place, all day, drinking two bottles of Lucozade and smoking fags in his cigarette holder!  Similar eye contact with the old dude, on the neg.
Third is the rather industrial lighting on the wall at an indie coffee shop.
Fourth is torchlit snow falling at night.

I got a free Minolta SRT-101 and Rokkor 58mm 1.4 from work a couple of weeks ago. Here are some photos from the first roll of color film (Kodak Ektar 100), taken yesterday while waiting for the streetcar.

Went out with my T modified Vivitar Ultra Wide and Slim and took a few of the floods and what's left of the snow. Second one was about 30 seconds and boat was moving a bit hence the blur.

Thought I'd stick these up as well. Dev'ed today but taken a couple of weeks ago using my 50 year old Contax IIa and a similarly aged 50mm f/1.5 Sonnar. That lens never ceases to amaze me how much detail it gets.

Some great work this weekend - light too weak for portraiture really but that never stops one trying :)

Some great work again this weekend. I took these last weekend and developed today. I'm loving the immediacy of developing my own films.

These remaining snowballs on Blackheath, in London, reminded me of the work of Andy Goldsworthy. All I need to remember now is a need to get closer than I think with a pinhole.

a couple of holgas from my trip up north a few weeks ago - I'm still getting through them.

The first is developed in8 year old Rodinal - brown as coke, but working great.  the second roll had some loose spooling issues, but I quite like the effect.

I spent some time this weekend learning to use a new scanner on some 5x4 negatives from a trip to Portugal last year.  The scanner also can handle 10x8 negatives.  I'll try that another day.

Both shots are nice but I just love the doggie shot. Very nice
