Filmwasters t-shirt printing
« on: February 23, 2009, 05:27:16 PM »
I hesitated before posting this at the risk of sounding a nerdy - or even upsetting the designer of the excellent artwork by suggesting it is nerdy! It's a posting ethics nightmare!

But I really like the Filmwasters artwork and wondered if anyone had had it printed on a t-shirt? If so where did you get it done? and does it look good? I'd really like one! There I've admitted it - do your worst! ;)

Hi nigel

The logo was designed for forum members to use as they like, especially for t-shirts. I've got one, I know at least 4 others who have fw shirts.

There are several print on demand web services you can use like cafepress.com , zazzle.com, etc.

The design is free for you to use for whatever you like.

Love the logo!
..any thoughts on doing an 'official' t-shirt?

OK I've gone for it with Zazzle - they have a very clever website! I'll let you know what it looks like when it arrives.

(that's not me by the way - now that would be clever!)

Nic - we decided against official merchandice as we are a not for profit site.  Original logo thread with full explanation is here filmwasters.com/forum/index.php?topic=958.0

Thanks Leon-
its very generous of you guys to let us make our own shirts
with the logo.. gives me some ideas! I think I'll have to make
a Kisekae camera template for filmwasters's crew to print out
and make their own 'filmwasters' edition..

That looks a lot like the camera I got a few years ago in my box of Kelloggs :)
That plastic thing took great images. Best of all, it was free  ;D

We could make it you!

BTW- I love Zazzle.  I have a few "astro" shirts from them and they are really nice.

They are first rate and ship fast!
