A couple of years ago I hacked into a 4x5 film holder so that I could slide my Mamiya RB67 roll film holder onto it, and use 6x7 on the back of my view camera.
Then something or other distracted me, and I never got around to trying it out.
A couple of careful cuts into the aluminium plate, lots of black velvet ribbon, some old backing paper, and a brass locking bar. Not a lot to it, though it is as flimsy and fragile as it looks.
Payoff time. The first shot is with all camera movements at neutral, using a Caltar 210mm f/6.8 triplet lens wide open. Neopan 400 dev'd in DDX.
Second uses a fair amount of rear swing.
Third, front swing in the opposite direction.
And last, with the same swings as above I added some rear tilt and front tilt, again in opposite directions.
Such a degree of swing and tilt would not be possible at 4x5 on this camera - bellows obstruction kicks in. But on the smaller frame of 6x7 you can shift the standards out quite far.
