Topic: ive run out of fix, anything else i can use??

hello,

quick question

have a film to develop at home, which is different as recently not had time to think and past today  work will get very busy again,  so i'm trying to get it done this evening,   but i have  no fix......what else can i use?

i seem to recall a conversation saying you can use dilute white vinegar??  or was that to replace the stop bath...or am i just going mad?

Dilute vinegar would be a stop bath replacement, not a fixer replacement unfortunately.

If your neighbor has a spa, you beg him for a little thiosulfate... I read it works (though I can't have any recommended times other than double clearing)

Or you can do like in the early 1800's and let the film soak for a month in salt water
(OK, salt water is not recommended)...

I think you better wait for some rapid fix...
