Evening all!

I'm after a bit of self-serving grovelling, and to be upfront, there's nothing in it for anyone else!

I'm delighted to be getting wed on Saturday 26th April!

Do any of my fellow wasters fancy taking a snap in their part of the world around the time of the ceremony? I'd like (with the appropriate copyright permission/waiver) to then put an album together of photos that anyone else was taking at this time. Any subject!

I'll be joining in (though I've not yet explained that bit to the future Mrs Chops!)

Polaroids, holgas, pin holes, large format, anything really.

Would be a fantastic way of sharing my big day!

Does this sound like a good idea, or just a bit daft?

The wedding's at 12pm GMT (1pm BST) on 26th April. (early evening in Asia, early morning in America)

Well, according to my calendar, that's the day after Polaroid Week, and the day before World Polaroid Day... so I might not have much to do that day.

Sounds like a good idea to me... I'll try and get something for you- any particular subject??

I will be in Virginia with a group of B&W photogs from around the USA we will all take some for ya it will be 8:00 am there

Either as a print (which would be nice, though a little cheeky) or as a digital file which I could print myself.

A nice quality scan would mean I could produce an 8x10 print.

I won't fiddle with digital files, so feel free to fiddle with them as much as you'd like.

As for the prints, having different sizes, papers and original polaroids would all be cool!

BTW, I see no reason why we shouldn't put everyone's efforts up as a gallery here on FW once the dust has settled on the big day.

Should be about 6pm in Singapore, but any time around that would be great.

Some night time shots would be good. Maybe of some of the sky scrapers, if you are anywhere near the business district?

Cool! Marked it on my calendar already. I stay pretty far from the biz district but will definitely take some pics there if I happen to go near ... else I'll probably have some shots from the local bar ...
