Nothing at all wrong with graveyards....AT least you have a ghost of a chance of an eery shot....er, sorry! Great shots Leon, the sky on your trees one is stunning!

These are great Leon.....the trees are particularly beautiful. I have to say I  used to frequent graveyards a lot then in I think it was pod cast one or two these was some discussion of graves and statues or something...you guys put the frighteners up me! I found a little breathing into a paper bag helped a lot!

thanks all - sandeha - these two are neg scans, it's my way of working out how I'm going to approach the print in the darkroom. 

Karl.  I put it down to taking great care in getting the film speed vs developer sorted out and the development time too.  It is a bit overly technical and maybe some feel working in this way can stifle creativity, but once it's all worked out, then you can concentrate on the pictures themselves.  well, that's what I think anyway.

Phil - it took several weeks of counselling and a course of benzodiazepines to work this one out of my system.

Ah I like graveyard shots. I'm not a fan of trees, though that's not to say that's not an excellent print or picture. Some days, though, I wish there was a week or a month of No Trees, Please...  I blame this on growing up in a place which is 90% tree so I've decided seeing the same woods shots as what I used to see out my window every morning is a little repeative and boring to me.
There's a really awesome war time era graveyard near my home with sort of art nouveau style gravestones, like pretty title pages on old books and lots of mentions of Peace, which is what everyone really needed at that time.  I like it and it's no longer opened to new burials so it's a relatively quiet place, undisturbed.

Just scanned this from a recent shoot so I thought I'd ante up instead of just having a pop at everyone else who ventures near a graveyard, a statue (or a dinosaur for that matter!).
