Looking for paper choices for the Epson 2200 ultrachrome pigment inkjet printer. Anyone using this system have any favorite papers or experiences?

I use the Epson Velvet Fine Art Paper--really love it. Have tried many other papers but the Velvet Fine Art gives me the best results--especially when doing Black and White.  Also when printing Black and White I choose Black ink only in the advanced options--even though it states it is not suitable for photos--Mark

I use to print on Epson 7600 and now I'm with the HP Z3100
I printed on several papers but the one and the only for me is the Fujifilm fine art photo rag (300 gr)

Epson Velvet Fine Art. Printed `warm`. Happy with this I am. It suits my B&W Polaroid stuff...

Hahnemuhle German Etching Paper and their Photo Rag are both superb matt finish papers, one textured one less so.

Also Cranes Silver Rag for lustrous blacks that emulates FB

I'm currently printing with an R2400 and lusting after a 3800. Lately, I've been using Harman MP fb matte as well as Crane Museo Max. I've also got a package of Museo Silver Rag awaiting testing. I'll be interested to see the results, especially on K3 inks.

A warning on the 2200 from someone who used to own one (me). The 2200 was notorious for color shifts under various lighting as well as brassing when printing straight black and white. It might be different with "toning" the print in Photoshop or depending on the paper. However, it produced beautiful color prints. Just keep that in mind.

Hahnemuhle also makes some bamboo based archival paper... looks very good and is a very ecological choice.
