I finally get to start this!
I had a roll to finish, so I went to a new place and found these.
The geese were really friendly. I was about 4 feet away from them and they just didn't care.

This was done on some old Gold 200 that I rated at EI 64...
I could have fixed the colors but I just liked them like that

I like geese and we had them at home for a while as pets...they are messy!
The colour is nice for this time of year, so I think it's appropriate.

Mine is also colour and a multi exposure on a Diana Mini that I have a love hate relationship with. It winds terrible and the spacing is always wonky to the max.
This was an accidental multi exposure that I liked from the few exposures I did manage to salvage off the roll.

I guess you just call them Geese up north, but down here we call the Canadian Geese.  They must get grumpy when they come down here and have deal with our traffic. 

Short work trip to Eugene, Oregon with my Kodak Retina Ia.  Kodak Tri-X developed in Rodinal 1:50.

We're cleaning up this tank farm so it will be completely gone in a few months.  You can see the hole cut in one of the tanks on the left, that's access to clean it out.

While I was taking the photo above I noticed this going on.  Demolishing an old wooden grain silo.  Its interesting construction, multiple verticle compartments that held different types of grain.  I know the contractor doing this, they did a project for me a few years ago with the same machine.

I'll continue the Old Gold^TM theme. This is from a batch of desert-fresh* Gold 400 I got a while ago, shot on an Olympus Trip AF (pronounced "TRIP AS F**K!") which uses DX coding, otherwise I'd have shot this at 100-200. Eventually I'll study the DX thread so I can hack this TRIP AF to shoot at whatever speed I want. But in the meantime, here's desert-fresh Old Gold 400 at box speed in 7-month-old C41 which has remained fresh thanks to Francois' glass bottle advice 😁

This must be true because I've never met a Canada goose that wasn't the most irate and belligerent animal in existence. They would have done well as mafia wiseguys.

It's funny because I shot them in a small upscale city close to home. Everybody and everything there seems to become nice for some reason.
I was really close to them and talking to them in a soft voice. They seemed to be looking at me thinking I wasn't a threat.
I'm pretty sure I could have gotten closer to pet them... and yet they are wild animals.

I also had a similar adventure last summer in the same city with a very polite and civilized squirrel.

I was once taking some photos of this cute canal in Maryland maybe? It was one of those canals that a horse would be on the path pulling the boat/barge through the canal. Anyways, there was a flock of Canada geese meandering down the canal towards me, and when they got maybe 50 feet away, they all of a sudden, on cue, jumped out of the water and started running towards me with BLOOD in their eyes. I think a few of them had knives, too, maybe a pistol or two. I started running and didn't stop running till I was back in Queens 😳
