Weekend - July 26, 27 & 28, 2024
« on: July 26, 2024, 05:54:41 PM »
Not a bird, a dog that likes to chase birds.  I shot this with my recently purchased 9X12 Voigtländer Avus with a Skopar lens.  https://filmwasters.com/forum/index.php?topic=6181.msg141990#msg141990  Shot on Fomapan 100 and developed in Rodinal 1:50.

I removed the rangefinder from the Avus, I couldn't get it to work, must be missing parts.  It was also rubbing on the bellows and put a small hole in them that I had to fix.  The jury is still out on the lens haze, I need to shoot in sunny conditions to see how that looks.  This was shot with a light cloud cover.

The haze doesn't look like it's too horrible. Using cerium oxide would make it potentially a bit sharper though.

Nice start with the doggie. I have forgotten this dogs name, and it's a new one correct?
Cutie, no less!

Mine is from a long ago beach trip with the N80 and some Agent Shadow film. The N80 is probably another all time favorite camera as it just works and works well. I know people compare it to the F100, and that's probably a good comp, but the light weight of the N80 definitely puts it in the plus column for me and just knocking around the beach.
It was for a project, but I'm not sure when this project will really see the break of day...so here we are.

dunked in Caffenol as usual.

His name is Quincy.

I have an N60, it’s so light weight it’s great to pack around hiking or snowboarding.

Very different from the F90x which could probably be used as a boat anchor....
But when it comes to performance, it really does deliver.
