Nice start Irv!  I have some old ones that I just scanned from the prints for a presentation I'm doing next week.  Shot with a Kodak STAR 235 using Kodak Gold 800.  I still have the camera, it's a super cheap point and shoot from the 1990's.  These photos are from a site I did in 1997 where we had to plug and abandon several geothermal wells at the Geysers, CA.  The wells were between 5,000 and 10,000 feet deep, high pressure steam with hydrogen sulfide gas.  The company that owned the wells went bankrupt and abandoned the facility.  It sat abandoned for years, the corroding wells were close to catastrophic failure.  We managed to safely plug and abandon all of them.

Managed to get through two test rolls this weekend, but only have had time to process one so far. These were taken with an Ansco Buster Brown No. 2 Folding. Kentmere 100 film, printed on Fomabrom.

Like a lot of these old folders (and box cameras) the viewfinder isn't particularly accurate, but it shows a little less than you actually get on the film so it's a simple matter to just crop things slightly and get more or less what you expected. I'm pretty pleased with the results. I've been looking for a 6x9 camera for a project I want to do, and this may be the one.

Did a round downtown Stavanger last Sunday with a FED Zarya and the Russar MR-2. Processed the Seagull 400 in HC-110 this time, still a lot of grain.

Hi Everyone, I have accepted Becky's challenge to join in the weekend thread, although like Bryan, mine are not exactly up-to-the-minute photos. Like most of you I have rolls of film jumping out at me from almost every drawer or cupboard in the house, but I also have stacks of exposed Polaroid peel-apart film from the last 20+ years collected in envelopes, bound by rubber bands, packed into boxes etc. etc. I found one such stack earlier today from a trip to Cornwall a few years ago and thought that a few of them were worth scanning. So, in-between making a very quick dinner and then taking my son (who's now 16, but who was about 9 in these photos) to see Dune Part 2, I scanned the good ones.

The camera here is a Bronica S2A with an instant back. The film is almost certainly 125i.

Bryan, you have a waaaaay more interesting job than I do.
Flippy, I hope the camera is the one you were looking for. The bird in the first photo certainly seems to have noticed it

Great weekend thread and very nice to see some of the elders back...:-)

So, here's a couple from that Sears (Ricoh) that would not go to infinity...this is before I adjusted it, so distance photos were not terrible. Near shots are too bad to even share.

I'll post again for next weekend to show the after shots. I'm hoping they are a bit crisper.
Anyway, film is the Irv-Vista from a few years back.

I've not posted anything here for ages, but do stop by regularly.

I recently picked up a Canon FTb with 50mm f1.4 SSC lens.  I wanted to do some test shots as soon as possible, so shot a few things around the garden in between some other jobs.  The camera had not seen use in a little while, so need a bit of a clean and replacing the mirror foam before use.

The lens is nice a clean, and of course I had to try it wide open.  I tried differing lighting situations to get a feel for the accuracy of the meter (which seems to work just fine)

Film was recently expired Fuji Acros II developed in PC-TEA 1+50
