That's his cabin in the woods, he'll be vacationing there soon now that the weather is getting better.

How I was spending the last weekend of April, 44 years ago. The first of two daughters and the great joys of my life.

Mamiya C3, 80mm, probably Tri-X

rubbish start to the weekend!
lovely daughter photo, and how time flies!
I'm awaiting pinhole day with eagerness as the weather is going to be nice for a change....I've probably jinxed it now.
Here's a conversion I did for the day. The 35mm Holga wasn't working as it should so I just  did a bit of dinking here and thereto make it pinhole.

It's going to be rain rain rain rain rain for us...

I have been working on a camera since last December but by design keeps failing. It was going to be a super-duper 35mm pinhole thing but it looks like I won't be ready in time as I still haven't got the film advance to work properly. And now just the thought working on this project is giving me anxiety attacks!
I did 7 revisions of the original design that I had to chuck in the bin. And I'm now going on the 8th revision of this second design and the d*** thing still doesn't work. 😠

So I'll have to settle for some film can pinholes or something like that.

Since this week was Roidweek I got out my Polaroid Spectra 2 and some filmpacks that expired 4 years ago. I should have used them earlier, but you know how it is with things that are not produced anymore; you tend to hang on to them as long as possible. The conditions for shooting Polaroid was not the best, cold and windy. I will shoot the remaining packs when the weather gets warmer. I added one shot with an interesting defect.

Oh yeah, those crystalline explosions.
I once had a few sheets of type 55 that made a crunching noise when they went through the rollers...

An interesting, varied weekend thread this week and as enjoyable as ever.
After a weekend of full on work here is a couple more from my trip to Dundee.
Luckily I got a couple of pinhole shots on the way home today so I can join in the fun later
Chroma canera 6:12 at 6x12 cropped and 6x9 also the RSS 5X4z at 35mm
