It's been a while since I posted on here, but the film in my 'walking the dog camera' has come to an end, a roll of expired Kodak Colour Plus. I think in my case the plus was extra green!

That's cool how that turned out, looks kind of like a painting.

A day at the beach, a century apart: my dad at Venice beach, circa 1924/25 (scan from a 116 format negative, cropped for size), and my grandson at about the same age (Pentax MX, Acros).

Harvey: The Plus may well have been 'extra green', but it renders the scene so atmospherically. I love it!

I love this! I hope your grandson will see this one day and do the same with his children and their children!

That's the plan. The little ones all have small but decent digital cameras now, and there's a set of 35mm and MF film cameras for each when they're older. My hope is that B+W film will hang around long enough for them to age into the larger cameras.

I wouldn't worry about that.
I think that the last films to disappear will be either 35mm or large format...
35mm because of Hollywood or large format because it's easy to feed those cameras pretty much anything.
