Amazing how well that turned out Satish, nice job!  I have a few 8mm movie camera shots.  Baby Rolleiflex using Ilford HP5+ developed in Kodak HC-110 Dilution B for 5 minutes.

OMG, Have you seen the sprocket drive on that Kodak!
This must really drive the film smoothly... Either that or it will chew your tie to shreads

I'm pretty sure the spring motor is in the drive wheel.  I ran a test roll through it and it worked pretty good.  I'll find out soon enough, I'll be shooting a roll in the next few weeks.  It's one of the oldest cameras in my collection, made between 1933 and 1945.

That would make sense. It also would be a fantastic design that's capable of filming at pretty high frame rates.

This is a very basic camera, wind it and go.  You can adjust the iris but that’s all.  The frame rate is 16fps with a shutter speed of 1/30.

I’ll throw in another from the same roll.  This is a Gearmaster tripod head made by American Bolex for movie cameras.  American Bolex was associated with Bolex of Switzerland, they made accessories for Bolex and imported Bolex cameras in the 1930’s and 1940’s.  Here’s an article about them: http://www.bolexcollector.com/articles/06_04_26.html

The crank is for pan and the knob is for tilt.  It’s a beautiful contraption and fun to use but it has was fatal drawback.  If you loosen the lever that locks in the tilt without your hand on the knob your camera takes a sudden nose dive.  Especially if it has a nice long lens on it.  I know this from experience but thankfully nothing got destroyed.

Thanks Becky! I feel like I can't take any credit for it except for waiting in between each exposure whilst getting eaten by mosquitos 😁 the film and the camera did the rest of the magic 😉 Oh, and the trees. Definitely the trees 😂
